The third horse in this Nurtural Bit-to-Bitless clinic for riding and
driving was a Norwegian Fiord named 'Deer Country Dawna.' She is driven
here by Diana Calder -- using her usual bit.
As Diana works Dawna in the bit, watch two things: (A) how well they
completed the task (their performance) and (B) how calm and responsive the
horse is (their relationship.)
Then we fit Dawna for the first time ever to the Nurtural Bitless Bridle.
This is a riding bridle with no blinders. It is important that the bridle
is fitted correctly, leaving room to easily release.
As Diana works Dawna in the Nurtural Bitless Bridle, again watch two
things: (A) how well they completed the task (their performance) and (B)
how calm and responsive the horse is (their relationship.)
After a little more practice on the lines, Diana's father, Ken Calder,
hooks Dawna to a cart to see how she responds in the in the Nurtural
Bitless Bridle. This is the first bitless cart ride for horse and driver.
