World's First Bitless Tent Pegging at 2010 W.E.G.
Tent pegging dates back to 300 B.C. when the first wave of the armies of Alexander the Great would race through an enemy camp with swords and spears to remove their tent pegs. (Don't ask what the second wave did.) It takes great skill and a well controlled horse to be able to lean over and stab a tent peg from the ground, when every split second counts.
This horse and rider had never seen a bitless bridle until 2 days earlier. They only went Nurtural because the horse was injured by a bit while at WEG.
Have you ever wondered if you could control a horse at high speed? Or turn with one hand?
Check the Will My Horse Stop video on our FAQ page. This is one of the videos on the new DVD that we will include with your next order.

River Meadow Stallions go Nurtural
in Pennsylvania
Fox Valley Oliver, the famous Breyer Shire, goes Nurtural for the 1st time.
River Meadow Stallions of Pennsylvania chose the Nurtural bitless because it gives such clear and consistent signals. Oliver and the other stallions love them.
Watch for them at many equestrian events this summer.
More good news! You can compete bitless in dressage at all the upcoming shows at River Meadow Stallions! No need to go online or move to The Netherlands. Right in Pennsylvania. Go Bitless!

What people are saying
This comment from Jeanette in Texas is common among bitless enthusiasts:
"I switched to bitless when I started riding after many years of not riding, and discovered that there was such a thing as a bitless bridle. I will never put a bit in horse's mouth again, and I try to convert every rider that I meet!
There are so many people who are concerned about doing the best for their horses that I find it hard to believe that we won't eventually change the world."
Here’s what Kaylen Spooner said:
“I schooled Cristallo in his bitless bridle
before the Nations Cup yesterday and the
USA won. Today (Sept 12, 2010) we schooled
bitless, and Richard & Christallo were second in the CN
international $1,000,000 class.
He is so much happier. It is amazing
because he is such a strong horse, we
were always trying stronger and stronger
bits. ...
Thank you Zoe”

Why they 'go Nurtural'
The Nurtural Bitless is a unique design different from any other bridle. It provides more points of communication and more consistent communication, so the horse quickly and clearly understands what you want. The Nurtural’s patented Circle-X under the jaw keeps every strap in the perfect position to give a consistent signal whenever you pull on a rein.
The textured noseband holds its position and improves control when slowing and stopping. Short reinstraps improve steering control.
Put together, it communicates more clearly and lets people do more with their horses than they can with other bridles.

" I rode my horse for the first time today with the Nurtural bitless bridle and I am completely blown away! It is the most amazing piece of tack I've ever owned! His responses were PERFECT. He stops on a dime, as well as responds to directions without missing a step! THANK YOU!"
