Bitless Nurtural Dressage Demo -- Can Am Spring 2007

Kelly Howling of EquineAware Horsemanship in Cambridge combines natural horsemanship with her studies in fundamentals of horse training and high level dressage.
Over the course of the weekend, Kelly showed riders how to help their horses become soft, relaxed & confident in the Nurtural No-Bit Bridle.
Although her focus is mainly on English riding, Kelly's methods can be applied to virtually any discipline.

Kelly Howling of EquineAware Horsemanship in Cambridge, Ontario and her student Dana demonstrated:
- The importance of teaching your horse to work properly (not hollow/inverted)
- How to have a safe & successful first bitless ride
- How to advance to bitless dressage work, including contact and basic movements.

Kelly's and Dana showed rhythm, relaxation, and contact at the walk, trot, canter, half pass, leg yield, renvers, travers and shoulder-in.

Kelly is riding "Juley", a 3 year old Tennessee Walker-Mustang mare. Dana's horse is an 18 hh level 2 dressage Draft-Cross gelding, "Tristan".

Both horses are wearing the Nurtural No-Bit Bridle designed by Zoe Brooks of Northern Ontario.
