Leslie Smith Dow wrote the first review of the Nurtural Bitless Bridle in the 2005 Nov/Dec issue of Horse Canada Magazine.
After testing her national show horse she concluded:"When riding I forgot I was using a Nurtural Bridle since it feels so similar to a regular bridle.
In November 2006, Leslie wrote:"I am still enjoying the Nurtural bridle and hack for hours in it, including long, crazy gallops in fields. I can actually stop my horse faster with a Nurtural bridle than I can with a bit, since he tends to fight the bit."
Developing Canadian Horse Katrina for Dressage in a Nurtural Bitless Bridle July 2009
See the amazing difference when this Canadian horse goes from bit to the Nurtural bitless!
Susan first tried the Nurtural Bitless Bridle in one of the first Nurtural Bitless Challenges at the 2008 Calgary Stampede. When she began training Katrina bitless, she found it took about half the time to get her to go forward into the bridle than with a bit.
We will continue to follow Susan and Katrina's progress.
Enjoy!
Spruce Meadows - Meadow on the Green, September 7, 2008:
The Canadian Horse Association of Alberta presented a demonstration of the national horse of Canada, the 'little iron horse'.
We were vaery pleased to see that one of the riders (Susan from video above) chose to do all her demonstrations, and to entertain the crowds at Spruce Meadows in a Nurtural bitless bridle.
Bitless Dressage Nurtural Pas De Deux
Royal Winter Fair, November, 2006.
Jody and Katie train with Kurt Hick, a medal winning German rider in Port Elgin, Ontario. Kurt started riding in the Nurtural Bitless Bridle after seeing them at the 2005 Royal, and now uses them for many students. Jody and Katie only started riding bitless in their Nurtural Bridles less than two months ago, and say they never want to go back to using a bit.
This dramatic presentation of the World's First Bitless pas-de-Deux was seen on television in Germany
